Object & Verbs
Remarks:
- In Japanese, the subject of sentence need not be expressed when it can easily be understood. For example the subject “I” need not be there for a sentence like this:
Nihon go o hanashimasu. (I) speak Japanese.
- The object consists of two elements
i) a noun – e.g. mado (window)
ii) a marker, the particle “o” whose function is to point out the word preceding it as the object of the sentence.
