Doko e ikimashita ka. Where did you go?
Let’s learn past tense verbs. For things that happened in the past, we change them to the past form. A ~masu form verb becomes ~mashita. The past tense for ikimasu “go” is ikimashita.
e.g. Kyō depāto e ikimasu. Today I go to the department store.
Kinō depāto e ikimashita. Yesterday I went to the department store.

Dialogue 1
A : Kinō doko e ikimashita ka. Yesterday, where did you go?
B : Ueno Kōen e ikimashita. (I) went to Ueno Park .

A : Kinō nani o shimashita ka. Yesterday, what did you do?
B : Eiga o mimashita. I watched a movie.
A : Doko de mimashita ka. Where did you watch the movie?
B : Eigakan de mimashita. (I) watched at the cinema.
