Lesson Seven (2)^^

LESSON SEVEN (2)

Doko e ikimashita ka. Where did you go?

Let’s learn past tense verbs. For things that happened in the past, we change them to the past form. A ~masu form verb becomes ~mashita. The past tense for ikimasu “go” is ikimashita.

e.g.    Kyō depāto e ikimasu. Today I go to the department store.
Kinō depāto e ikimashita. Yesterday I went to the department store.
